Rental Program Details

Old Town Violins has developed a multi-state-wide reputation for supplying the highest quality rental outfits on the market. We offer 2 different competitive packages (silver package and gold package) that will appeal to all backgrounds and budgets. Each instrument is set up and adjusted in our own workshop to meet the most particular specifications. You will also receive 2 months FREE on your rental when you select the annual option.

All instruments & sizes are offered at the silver package level. The silver package features a hand-carved and hand-varnished, moderately flamed instrument, set up with quality strings and a tailpiece with built-in fine tuners.

Gold package instrument rentals are available only in “adult-size” (7/8 and up violins and cellos, 15″ and up violas, all subject to availability) annual rentals. The gold package features our premium rental instruments, designed specifically for advanced players. They are hand-carved and hand-varnished with shading and antiquing, moderate to highly flamed, set up with premium strings, French Aubert bridge and German Wittner tailpiece with built-in fine tuners.

All instrument rental packages come with instrument, case, bow, quality rosin, and shoulder rest or rock stop. Optional insurance is available.

VIOLINS and VIOLAS:

• Silver Package: Monthly= $22, Annual= $220.
• Gold Package: Annual= $400. 

CELLOS:

• Silver Package: Monthly= $43, Annual= $430.
• Gold Package: Annual= $750.

BASSES (limited availability):

• Silver Package: Monthly= $60, Annual= $600.

Cash, checks, or debit/credits cards are accepted for annual rental payments or initial monthly payments.  ONLY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR ON-GOING MONTHLY RENTALS.
